Never use fabric softener on your intimates

Washing your lingerie by hand sounds like it's tedious but it's really pretty easy. Pour a glass of wine, put on your favorite music and get to work!
Combine all your delicates in a sink of warm (NOT hot) water and add a delicate washing detergent such as Fashion Care Soap . Swish around for a minute, rub any stains,
then let soak for about 5 minutes and rinse with warm water. Gently squeeze and then lay bras flat to dry, most other garments can be hung to dry.
If you insist on using a washing machine, use a gentle cycle and a Bra Bather Bag to keep items free of snags and twists. Use the same delicate washing detergent. Dry flat.
This advice will help keep your delicates last longer.
Why we don't recommend fabric softener on your lingerie: Many intimate items have silicone bands that stick to the skin and help keep your lingerie in place. Strapless bras,
shapewear, thigh highs and even some panties have these silicone bands (Soma's Vanishing Edge Panties for example). Ingredients in fabric softeners (such as vegetable oil)
leave a slippery coating making the silicone bands ineffective. This goes for dryer sheets as well as liquid softener.
